Safaricom Launches New Animation Marketing Campaign

EastEast reviewsEast reviews and Central African leading intergrated solutions provider, Safaricom, has today unveiled a new animation based way of communicating with its 15 million-plus customers. The animation has been produced and directed by Kinematic studios. led by Stefano Cassini.

Featuring an animated character called Safis and put together by the firm’s Marketing and Communications Department in partnership with ad agency RedSkyRedsky reviewsRedsky reviews, the campaign is meant to convey the benefits of Safaricom’s superior product and service offering in an exciting and easy-to-understand manner.

    These are pirated concepts from India. Safaricom just shameless copies Vodacom ZooZoo adverts from India. If you search ZooZoo ads on youtube you can see the original concept adverts for Vodacom. The lows that big agencies have sunk to … now that they are all owned by the same two chaps at the top.

    I like the ad they do for the 3G where there is a race. Its funny. But what is that language they speak? 'Dumpa dum and stuff?!' By the way, is it me or this safi resembles a main actor on citizen's 'Home Sweet Home'?
