Gullible Kenyan Tweep Lured Into a Twitter Trap then Laid Bare

A Twitter account of some Kenyan was  taken control-of by someone. Always someone very close. So the person who has control of the account has been posting some very juicy messages. The conversation being posted in one sided. The person in charge of the account now has been using the Twitter web version to post the messages. Which means that he/she must have been seeing the message from and to the victim. Web version has the conversational style.

But he/she decided to post only the message from the victim. What this means is that the person who lured her into the discussion is the same one posting the messages. I have just called the victim and she says that yes some lady was trying to vibe her and she doesn’t know what happened. She seems a bit confused and has not reported the matter to Twitter but we contacted Twitter and hope that we will get a response.

But now you can help the victim report the account to Twitter because the control of the account is not with her and the person having the account has even changed the email address. Use this form to report the account. Leave your comment below of what you think of the account.

I don’t understand the point of this article. How exactly would I, a complete stranger to this woman and her situation, be able to legitimately report that she is being impersonated to Twitter. Isn’t that something that only she, and perhaps her friends, can do? In which case, what does publicizing this information achieve?
