Safaaricom 3G Safaricom Now Upgrades Unlimited Data Speeds to 1Mbps

Safaricom seems to be learning a lot. I have just realised that the 3G unlimited one week and one month data speeds have been upgraded to 1Mbps from the previous 512Kbps. I believe that Safaricom is really learning from our experiences. Orange still caps its unlimited data offerings at 256Kbps while Airtel Kenya does not cap its live but yet to be officially launched 3G unlimited data.

I believe that I can work with 1Mbps now though it would be so hard to achieve such speeds in a shared network.

Hey there, I am using Orange unlimited daily and weekly [ The GSM 3G offering, not their CDMA ] and I get no such caps, in fact here is a speedtest screenshot of my connection speed.

I noticed faster speeds on Safaricom 1 week modem, and inquired online about it. Good to know its official, Ustream live KTN should be better now.

it used to be unlimited before,5mbps for safaricom, but now everything is 1mbps,for gsm orange is the best only that after exceeding a certain usage, your speeds are capped and behaves like edge
